When HBAR is utilized on the BNB Smart Chain, it conforms to the BEP-20 token standard. This implementation involves a different number of decimals, set at 18, reflecting the standards of the BNB Smart Chain ecosystem.

The presence of HBAR on multiple chains, including its native Hedera Hashgraph and as a BEP-20 token on BNB Smart Chain, offers flexibility for users and developers interacting with different blockchain environments.
